Tribute to Eileen Gray
As an homage to Eileen Gray, the model below is based off the rigid and rectilinear architecture of Villa E-1027. The assignment was to create a space to house a funerary monument for Eileen Gray. Inspired by the use of geometric shapes and intricate placement of forms, my funerary monument will echo these concepts by challenging the balance of geometric forms.

Metamorphosis: Refugee House
The goal was to create a temporary home for refugees as they settle down in Canada. Although this space in intended to turn over frequently, as refugees finalize their paperwork, it was also important for refugees to feel comfortable during their stay. This was achieved by creating a sense of community within the home, following ADA recommendations so anyone could live there, and making environmental design decisions. Being new to a country can be very emotional and stressful, some people deal with these emotions differently, and Metamorphosis House strives to accommodate these differences.

Loft Model
This assignment was part of a larger project which involved taking the client brief and creating technical drawings based off that. The loft is divided into three main areas, private, public, and semi-private. The living room and dining room are in a 20' high ceiling space creating a very public and open feel, while the kitchen is considered semi private since it is tucked away in the corner under the loft level. The bedroom and bathroom are located upstairs on a private level.
