ABOUT ALANA PETTYPIECE

 

 

I am currently a fourth year student at Algonquin College, Bachelor of Interior Design (BID) program. I aspire to create spaces that can improve the lives of the users in terms of ease of movement and psychological well-being.

 

My school experience has taught me many practical skills like time management, public speaking and creative thinking, while life experiences have taught me that life is short, spend it doing things you love and do them well.

 

This past summer I worked for the Canadian House of Commons, Architecture and Long Term Vision Plan division. I am currently working for a small residential firm in Ottawa helping with the technical drawings.
