ORIGINS Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge
This six level (three levels are below grade), 5-star restaurant and cocktail lounge was inspired by the four elements. Fire, Wind, Earth, and Water are believed to be the original elements that created the world we live in today; they are the Origins of what we know and where we live. Each element has specific characteristics and power that will inspire the design and menu of the restaurant. Origins Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge embraces the idea of going back to the fundamentals and breaks down each menu item into its basic elements, or ingredients, and educates guests about their origins.
Each Area of this design focused on an individual element. The entry level is represented by Wind. The kitchen floor is Fire, the restaurant levels are earth and the cocktail lounge is water.

Digital Renderings
This kitchen, inspired by the combination of traditional cooking techniques and materials and modern ingredients, brings two differet design styles into one space. Traditional materials like brass, rustic wood, and marble were used in the space to bring in the traditional aspect of the concept, while the sharp and ridgid angles speak to the modern style. The large ceilings give the space a luxurious feel. In order to take advantage of the height of the space, a ladder was incorporated. This kitchen is meant for the modern chef and host who brings their guests into the kitchen to entertain; cocktail drinks will be served on the unique island while a couple can sit by the window.

RAW Heath & Wellness Centre
The soy bean, the most common crop in Ontario, symbolizes the health benefits of the food that put into your body. The RAW Health & Wellness Centre, in addition to providing a spa, health clinic, and fitness centre, will also include food nutrition information and access to local markets and fresh produce for the clients.
MIND BODY AND SOUL
The act of growing soybeans imitates the acts of living a healthy lifestyle, which is what this centre RAW Health & Wellness strives to promote. The nourishment of the mind, body, and soul are all important aspects of a holistic approach to health.
The seed represents the human soul as it is the essence of the plant. It is very important to nurture the soybean seed, or else there is no plant. The spa area of the RAW Centre, emphasizes this aspect of the plant growth.
As the plant grows it develops its body through the stem and leaves. These aspects represent the body of the plant and thus relate to the human body. Our bodies are important to nourish through exercise and food.
Finally, the roots represent the brain or the mind of the plant which is crucial in wellness, because we need to fully understand what we are doing for our body and why. The doctors in clinical areas as well as classes held in the meeting room will educate clients in health and food information.
