RAW Heath & Wellness Centre
The soy bean, not only the most common crop in Ontario, but also the theme of this design, symbolizes the health benefits of eating right. RAW Health & Wellness Centre, in addition to providing a spa, health clinic, and fitness centre, will also include food nutrition information and access to local markets and fresh produce for the clients.
MIND BODY AND SOUL
The act of growing soybeans imitates the acts of living a healthy lifestyle, which is what this centre RAW Health & Wellness strives to promote. The nourishment of the mind, body, and soul are all important aspects of a holistic approach to health.
The seed represents the human soul as it is the essence of the plant. It is very important to nurture the soybean seed, or else there is no plant. The spa area of the RAW Centre, emphasizes this aspect of the plant growth.
As the plant grows it develops its body through the stem and leaves. These aspects represent the body of the plant and thus relate to the human body. Our bodies are important to nourish through exercise and food.
Finally, the roots represent the brain or the mind of the plant which is crucial in wellness, because we need to fully understand what we are doing for our body and why. The doctors in clinical areas as well as classes held in the meeting room will educate clients in health and food information.
